SEASIDE AND SANDCASTLES SAFARI
START IN SKEGNESS, FINISH IN BLACKPOOL. WHAT LIES BETWEEN IS WHAT COUNTS...
29th July - 1st August
WHAT IS IT
It's not the destination, nor the place of departure, it's about the journey
Designed to take in some of the most scenic riding roads and routes in the UK, this coast to coast adventure just happens to use the seaside hotspots of Skegness and Blackpool as the start and end points.
Having camped that night in Skeg-Vegas, we'll meet beneath the clock tower the following morning before beginning our journey north through the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds, not to be underestimated for its beauty.
Across the mighty Humber Bridge, wave at John Prescott as we pass through Hull then up the east coast past Filey and Bridlington, before lunch on Scarborough sea front and onwards and upwards to Whitby for the evening.
The next day - heading west - we'll pass through Goathland, the filming location of Heartbeat, and out onto the North Yorkshire moors, revelling in its wide open expanse, before riding to Hawes and the Yorkshire Dales, scaling the mighty Buttertubs Pass along the way.
The Lake District beckons, with a taste of Windermere and the most challenging road in all the land; Winnats Pass.
Make camp that night, before the grand finale Sunday morning, riding the enchanting Forest of Bowland and then finally into Blackpool for a celebratory donut and a stick of rock.
Included in the price is the road book and mapping and all nights camping accommodation.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?
The price doesn't include your fuel, food and spending money.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You'll need a well serviced and road worthy bike. Any bike will do, but bear in mind the pace of the main group will be in line with legal speed limits.
You'll also need basic camping gear - tent, sleeping bag, pillow and mat - and some waterproofs, just in case. It is Wales after all. For peace of mind, it's advised that you have full breakdown cover for your bike just in case you do have problems that are beyond simple roadside repair.

Bookings can also be transferred to alternative trips/experiences at any time during that three month period.
