WHAT IS IT

After the year we've all had in 2020, the Garbage Run Summer Safari is a chance to get out into the wild, ride your bike and learn some new off-road skills, all in the setting of the stunning Sweetlamb Adventure Academy in Mid Wales, which we'll have all to ourselves.

There are two options;

ONE: Enjoy two days of professional off-road training by the same team that runs the KTM Adventure School. Riders will be divided into ability groups, with option to cater for outright novices up to intermediate riders who still have skills to learn.

TWO: Stick to the Tarmac with two days of guided road rides heading out to the coast and up into Snowdonia, riding some of the best roads Wales has to offer.

A summer festival with something for all riders, whether you like the trails or the Tarmac. The Sweetlamb Academy will be the base for both, with chance to kick back and unwind on the evenings with onsite camping and bunkhouse with breakfast and dinner available to buy onsite.

Arrive Tuesday, ride Wednesday and Thursday, leave Friday.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Included in the price is full use of the Sweetlamb facilities, with a choice of onsite camping and bunkhouse. Off road training and on the on road ride outs are all included.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You need to bring a road worthy and well serviced machine. The off road training is open to bikes of all sizes in the trail and adventure sector and given the terrain a suitable tyre should be fitted. This doesn't have to be an aggressive knobbly, but something with off road intention is essential. Please message with any particular queries.

You'll also need basic camping gear - tent, sleeping bag, pillow and mat - and some waterproofs, just in case. It is Wales after all! If you wish to stay in the bunkhouse you will only need a sleeping bag.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

To secure you place click on the SIGN UP icon above-right which will take you to a payment area where you can pay a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure your place. The remainder of the balance will be due further down the line, with further information also provided upon sign up.

Bookings can also be transferred to alternative trips/experiences at any time during that three month period.
